Well I have taken up swimming again, but what I need is a good pair of goggles. I’ve had a bad experience with goggles, in that they didn’t fit me and water still got in. So how do I know if goggles fit? What can I consider to be ‘good’? Are there any brands that are recommended?

Aqua Sphere makes some of the best swim goggles I have ever used. I like their Seal Goggles as well as their Vista Goggles. What I like about them is that they have a soft hypoallergenic silicone skirt that conforms quite well to the face. Both the Vista and the Seal give a wide field of vision and are available with clear, tint or blue lenses. The silicone is used because it is more resistant to the elements and doesn’t break down as fast as rubber goggles. The straps are easy to adjust which allows for a more personalized fit. Because of their design, the Aqua Sphere goggles fit an extremely wide range of faces.
